  • Satan’s Lullaby

    Satan’s Lullaby

    Lately Satan wrote one song,

But he hides who the author is,

    And its’ message very strong,

And it goes on like this…

    Chorus:

    Sleep, sleep, Christian, sleep,

    You will be in Heaven…

    Sleep, sleep, Christian, sleep

    You will be in Heaven…

“It is finished!” – Jesus said!

Don’t you dear believe in that?!

    Sleep, sleep, Christian, sleep,

    You will be in Heaven…

    But some people saying, “HALT!

    Don’t believe in Satan’s lie!”

    Satan answers, “Don’t be bold!

    Listen to my lullaby…”

    Chorus

    Others say, “Awake, who sleep!

This is NOT what Jesus said!”

    Devil goes, “You are creep!

Listen song, and don’t be mad!”

    Chorus

  • 10th Commandment English Version

    10th Commandment English Version

    Exodus 20:17, Deuteronomy 5:21,
    Romans 13:9
Originally this was a song Mikhail wrote in Russian. He then rewrote it to English. Original post can be found HERE.  Designed almost like a chant – where soloist starts and group responds with chorus in between.

Do not covet anything, that your neighbor has!
Do not covet anything, this is lawlessness!

    Chorus:
    Do not covet anything!
    Do not covet anything!
Do not covet anything, that your neighbor has!

Do not covet anything, that your neighbor has!
Do not covet anything, it leads to sinfulness!

    Chorus

Do not covet anything, that your neighbor has!
Do not covet anything, this is foolishness!

    Chorus

Do not covet neighbor’s wife, don’t make your life a mess!

    Chorus

Do not covet neighbor’s home, don’t go under stress!

    Chorus

Do not covet neighbor’s yard, if there is greener grass!

    Chorus

Do not covet neighbor’s work, don’t push him work for less!

    Chorus

Do not covet neighbor’s staff, nor his job success!

    Chorus

Do not covet neighbor’s wealth, this is greediness!

    Chorus

Do not covet neighbor’s health, this is selfishness!

    Chorus

Do not covet neighbor’s looks, this is pointless!

Do not covet anything that your brother has!
Do not covet anything that your sister has!
Do not covet anything because CREATOR says:

    Chorus
    Do not covet anything!
    Do not covet anything!
Do not covet anything, that your neighbor has!

  • True Happiness

    True Happiness

What is true happiness? It is being in relationship with our Creator. We were made to have deep relationships and He pursues us to have that with Him!

    All desire to be happy,
But sometimes we feel real crappy.
    We seek everywhere for pleasure,
And we want the greatest treasure.

Often we seek in wrong places ,
Without a smile on our faces.
    Though In our recent attraction
    We now find no satisfaction.

Though we sought all out for the joy,
All we received was a decoy.
    We really searched for happiness,
But all we feel is crappiness.

    Desperately wanting to win,
We gave in and fell into sin.
No it is not there we exclaim!
All we have found there is just lame!

Yet the answer is not so far,
We don’t have to reach for a star.
The  right answer is in the One
Who has exclaimed that it is done!

The high price has been fully paid!
The way to real joy has been made!

  • My Father is a Christian

    My Father is a Christian

    Happy Father’s Day!

My church had this beautiful poem in the bulletin, and I have to share it. I do not know who the author is.

I hope you are blessed by it!

    My father is a Christian;
    He leads our household well;
    With instructions from the Bible,
    Right behavior he’ll compel.

    Yet he steers us with compassion;
    His gentle love is true;
He conforms to our Lord Jesus,
So we know just what to do.

    He teaches us with purpose,
Guides us in all Godly ways,
So we will take the right path,
And serve our Lord with praise.

    I’m glad you’re a Christian Dad;
You help me see things clearly.
I’ll always look up to you,
    And love you very dearly!

  • Greatest Treasure

    Greatest Treasure

What is your greatest treasure? Do you want to live life to the fullest? Short and to the point poem by my brother Vladimir. Thanks bro!

Would you like, my friend, to live without strife?
Ask and God will show you the path of life.

In His presence there is fullness of joy,
All the world will offer is a decoy.

At His hand are pleasures forevermore,
And this my friend you really should not ignore.

Jesus offers us the greatest pleasure,
Christ Indeed is our greatest treasure.

If we truly see that Christ is worthwhile,
Let us display that with our lifestyle.

There is no room for anyone to boast
Show what you love by what you enjoy most!

  • On Eagle’s Wings

    On Eagle’s Wings

Another powerful poem Ilya wrote. I really enjoyed reading this one, hope you do too!

Now i wait in hope for light
For t’is here, the terror of night

    Crrrack, and Boooom!
    Thunder strikes with certain doom

Hoped for joy, but only gloom
I want rest, but not a tomb!

Save Me God! to Him I cry
    Waiting now for His reply.

Through the rain I hear Him say
“Spread your wings and fly away”

But my Lord! I think I’ll die!
To my doubt will you reply?

Great! ..perhaps, ill wait for dawn
But the storm keeps pressing on!

Now, the only thing i see
    Water rising like a sea

If something don’t change, and soon
I will never see the moon!

Save me Lord again i cry..
And hear rain but no reply.

Ok, Lord, now Here i go
Off the ground myself i throw

I spread out and flap my wings
    Leave behind all earthly things

To obey you Lord, you see?
I am praying you save me!

Flying up high feels so weird
Right into that which I’ve feared

    By the storm, I’m surrounded
    Not at all being grounded!

    Lightning flashes by my side!
LORD!! You see?! i almost died!

    “Higher fly” was His reply
I Say, What?! and Where? and WHY?!

All my senses say to stop!
In this storm you’ll die and drop!

Who to listen to i must!
Choose, the Lord in Him I trust!!

Flapping now and with a roar
Through the darkened clouds i tore.

    Suddenly the sky grew still
And my eyes they took there fill

    Over clouds, a starry night
Up here peace instead of fright

I thought darkness, but here light!
No more pain, but God’s delight!

Praise Him for He brought me Through
Past and beyond what i knew

Oh thank you Lord, that i flew
    And received this awesome view!

Oh, Lord my heart yearns for you!
You are faithful, kind and true!

I give up my life to you!
Jesus Lord, I do Love you!

  • Time

    Time

Time is precious, and this poem is a great reminder. Ilya wrote this poem a few years back, and it always makes me think about time as the most precious resource on earth. You can get more material things, but time is something you will never get more of. Once your time is up, it’s up. You cannot over-live. Every day is a gift from God, we must remember that!

As I glance at the picture on the wall,
    The memories I do recall.
I remember that little child’s face,
who now grew up in God’s grace

Sometimes I wish to go back again,
To relive the days now past
    But, I know that nothing
    But God can last.

    Every minute, every second past
    Is now gone forever,
The only thing left is the memories
    We have together.

Time is a gift from God for us to hold,
T’is more precious than silver or gold.
Time is something you cannot buy,
Though it does come in limited supply.

Hopefully by now you have learned,
    That time cannot be returned.
So use your time wisely before it runs out.
Living your life for Jesus, is what its all about!
